Vance has gone to the dark side and is on the faculty at Christ School.  Vance and I had a great dinner during my visit to Asheville for a Trustee meeting—he’s still the absolute classiest guy and our class!  Vance’s mother still lives in Asheville and we had a great visit with her—Vance relates this story of his mother:  “There are probably few people still alive who remember sitting in Clemenceau's lap and being fed chocolates!”
